Following the newest scientific research, the innovative dual-gel breast implants are being used. These implants are made of two layers silicone gel. The first layer is more solid to provide and preserve the breast shape. The warrantee will cover a new implant and if it breaks within 10 days after the surgery (very rare), the repeated surgery costs will be reimbursed (up to €1000) also.

Yes. There is no difference in pricing.

Complications are unlikely, but there are some risks:

• As with any other surgery, excessive bleeding, swelling or bruising might occur.
• There is a slight possibility of infections. In some cases, it might be advisable to remove the implant.
• Some breasts become too firm because a scar tissue forms around the implant. Additional surgery might be needed to address the problem.
• The nipple might lose its sensitivity, but (in most cases) this is temporal.
• Sometimes the breasts will have slightly different shapes. Yet, this can be addressed with good results.
• Rupture of the implant is possible; however, silicone will do no (significant) harm to the body and can be corrected by replacing implants.
• There is no connection found between breast implants and breast cancer. However, a patient who has implants should inform the radiologist about it before having a mammogram done, so the mammogram technique is adjusted. Silicone obstruct the X-ray, but several images enable to see the entire tissue of the breast.
