• After agreeing on a surgery date, you will receive a contract for all the medical and non-medical services
• To finalize a surgery date, an advance payment of €500 will be required

• On your surgery day, your travel manager will take you to the clinic 2/3 hours before the operation
• After the surgery, you will spend 1-2 nights in our clinic depending on your treatment
• Before being discharged from the clinic you will have a post-operative consultation with a bariatric surgeon, all necessary medication and instructions will be provided as well
• Once discharged from the clinic your travel manager will be in touch with you and will assist you with any problems.

The ESG procedure

• Performed under sedation or light general anaesthesia
• Takes approx. 45–60 minutes

You can have your surgery done for free by claiming a refund from your local health board. We are helping patients with the documentation needed in order to claim a refund after following the EU directive route for medical treatment abroad. Patients usually choose this route because of the long waiting list in their country of origin.

Most people are back to normal activity within 3–5 days.

While you are still in Lithuania: you will be immediately checked upon by the medical personnel. Should there be a need for a follow-up procedure, it would be carried out for you free of charge.

The complication in the later stages of the recovery is even rarer and most of the time, not an emergency. If they happen, our surgeon would consult you online and explain the steps to take.
