Medical Tourism Consulting Our company is based in Lithuania – a European Union country on the shores of the Baltic sea. Its location is a natural crossroad between Western Europe, Scandinavia (Northern Europe) and CIS (Russia and other former soviet republics). For that reason we have ties and share cultural values with all three before mentioned regions. It is much easier for us to understand e.g. the Russian market than for a Westerner or the Scandinavian market than for others. We structure our knowledge of medical tourism markets in to the following:
Western Europe & Scandinavia

Total population: 423.15 million; Main languages: English, German; Main problem: Under-capacity.

CIS countries

Total population: 276.92 million; Main languages: Russian; Main problem: Low quality of health care.

Other key markets

Include: North America, the Middle East; Main languages: English, other; Main problem: various.

What makes us credible?

  • Making a medical tourism business plan and attracting investors for it;
  • Building a website with unique content for medical tourism;
  • Attracting clients through smart and cost-efficient marketing;
  • Providing excellent customer service from inquiry to late rehabilitation.

Clients’ Testimonials

Wellness Travels’ consulting team helped us establish a medical tourism agency in Thailand. Not only we saved a good deal of money, but also made the whole establishment process much quicker. The young consultants helping us gave modern advice in all stages of creating our company, i.e. from market research to customer follow-up.

The guys who helped us were amazingly down-to-earth. Their suggestions were very practical so we could put them into practice right away. I think the price we paid for their services really was worth it as otherwise we would have paid much more if we did some of the things ourselves. I can recommend them to all the medical tourism start-up companies!

Frequently asked questions:

Who are the people forming your team?

Our team mainly relies on the founders of Wellness Travels. These are Gediminas Kondrackis and Paulius Jurgutis, both having extensive experience in both medical tourism practice and academics. We have been through all of the stages of building a medical tourism company, thus we have credible know-how of everything from strategy creation to maintaining customer loyalty. Still, on various legal and IT matters we leave ourselves an option to consult professionals of those areas.

How does the consulting process go?

We can divide the process of consulting into six steps:

  1. First we get your inquiry, which we carefully inspect and then get back to you with some follow up questions and details, also offer you a date and time for a conference call or a meeting. We can also sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) at this point.
  2. During the call / meeting, we introduce ourselves and discuss everything that might be relevant, including: your expectations, areas where we could help, etc. Once all the issues are discussed, within a working day, we propose you an assistance plan / solutions to the problems of your business.
  3. At this point we expect you to carefully look over our proposed plan and: a) Agree to it completely. If so we can move to payment step; b) Make your own alterations to the plan. If so we would simply sign an agreement taking your proposed changes into account; c) Disagree with the part of the plan. If so we can discuss all the areas in question again; d) Refuse the plan and don’t proceed further with us.
  4. Once we agree on a plan, we can proceed further to the payment. Depending on the agreement, we can apply on the four available payment plans: minimum, medium, maximum or custom. The payment goes as following: i) We sign a contract; ii) Send you an invoice; iii) 20% of the sum you have to pay in advance, whilst the rest is paid during the process of consulting; iv) You can pay via Paypal, bank transfer, credit card or with cash (whichever you prefer).
  5. Once the advance payment is received, we start working according to the plan mutually agreed on at the 3rd step. We provide our solutions batch by batch, therefore you can start implementing them right away, while we are still assisting you. Also this way, you can see whether our help is worthwhile and decide if you want to continue working with us. We provide the solutions both in written and oral form.
  6. We also provide follow-up help, once you implement our proposed solutions to your business. Such monitoring of progress helps to polish everything that has been done.

On what do you mostly consult?

  • Market analysis & research (incl. treatments, prices, target markets & groups, competitors)
  • Strategy creation & opportunities for growth
  • Medical tourism content building & optimization for the website
  • Partnerships’ establishment, contracts & agreements (clinics, accommodation, etc.)
  • Brand building (incl. values, vision, slogan, logo, PR)
  • Advertising opportunities & optimization (offline & online marketing)
  • Creating medical-tourism holiday pack (key points in offer)
  • Step by step communication with a customer (from the inquiry to after-care)
  • Ensuring constant customer flow
  • Cutting on unnecessary costs & outsourcing opportunities
  • Preparing a well-rounded contract of services & other legal documents
  • Maintaining high patients satisfaction and loyalty to your services

How can we know if we get valuable advice from you?

First of all we sign a contract, which clearly states our liabilities to you and gives you an option to cease the deal, if something goes not as planned. Secondly, we own a visible medical tourism company ourselves and we pay uttermost care to our reputation. In this light, we are simply compelled to provide you with services, which are expected from a professional and honest service provider.

How fast does the consulting process go?

It really depends on the content and the extent of what is asked from us. Also we work with regard to your given timeframe, thus if you ask for quick results, we can work overtime 7 days per week to provide you with solutions as soon as possible. We consider ourselves really flexible on this.

Is it possible to change the agreed plan, once the consulting process has started?

Yes, such option is absolutely possible and we actually encourage people to adjust their requests/ expectations if they feel like it. However, if this happens, we have to mutually agree on certain changes to the contract as well, e.g. if the extent of consulting grows, we would have to charge you little extra accordingly.

On which medical tourism markets do you focus the most?

Our team mostly focuses on European and CIS markets. These include outbound medical tourism (sending) countries/regions, such as Scandinavia, UK, Ireland, Benelux, Germany, Russia and Ukraine, and countries for inbound medical tourism: Baltic States, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Balkans and Turkey. Additionally, we have expertise in the U.S and Canadian market, as we also serve customers from those countries.

What is the Certificate of Achievement?

This certificate shows that your company / clinic is instructed and familiar with the way the medical tourism trip and interaction with the clients should go. In other words, it is a reassurance for your patient that you know how to cater to his/her needs and wishes. To hold this certificate your company has to undergo at least 25 hours of consulting with us.
