Semi-rigid penile implant

A tube (catheter) might be inserted into your bladder via your penis to collect urine at some point during surgery. Our surgeon will make an incision below the head of the penis, at the base of the penis or in the lower abdomen.

Next, the surgeon will stretch the spongy tissue in the penis that would normally fill with blood during an erection. This tissue is inside each of the two hollow chambers called the corpora cavernosa.

Our surgeon will choose the correct size implant and place the implant cylinders inside your penis. All sizes are customized to your exact body measurements.

If you have decided to have a three-piece inflatable device, a pump and valve are placed inside the scrotum. The surgeon will also implant a fluid reservoir under the abdominal wall through an internal incision.

Once the device is in place, our surgeon will sew the incisions closed. Penile implant surgery usually takes 45 minutes to an hour.

Three-piece, fluid-filled penile implant

Inflatable devices, the most common type of penile implant used, can be inflated to create an erection and deflated at other times. Three-piece inflatable implants use a fluid-filled reservoir implanted under the abdominal wall, a pump and a release valve placed inside the scrotum, and two inflatable cylinders inside the penis.

To achieve an erection, you pump the fluid from the reservoir into the cylinders. Afterward, you release the valve inside the scrotum to drain the fluid back into the reservoir. The two-piece model works in a similar way, but the fluid reservoir is part of the pump implanted in the scrotum.

Titan® Touch is the only penile implant pump with a true one-touch release. It only requires momentary compression of the deflation button to allow complete fluid transfer out of the cylinders. It is easy to locate, inflate and deflate.

• A reservoir

A reservoir is placed in the abdomen. It is made from Bioflex – a supple, yet durable, biopolymer material.

Titan® Touch inflatable penile prosthetic is coated in the hydrophilic coating, providing long-term attachment to the surface of the entire device. The coating rapidly absorbs any aqueous solution of choice prior to implantation and provides increased surface lubricity to decrease bacterial adherence. Also, the hydrophilic coating may provide easier device implantation.

After agreeing on a surgery date, you will receive a contract for all the medical and non-medical services
To finalize a surgery date, an advance payment of €475 will be required

Can I have an orgasm?

If you have had an orgasm before surgery, you will be able to experience it after the surgery as well.

Will my penis size change after surgery?

Penis implants do not change the size of the penis. After surgery, the penis remains the same size as before surgery, rarely shortened by even a few millimeters.

When will I be able to have sex?

The postoperative period is very individual. Usually sex can be had after 4-6 weeks.

Will others notice that I have a penis implant?

Implants are placed in your body so they are not visible. The postoperative scar is minimal and not visible either. If a semirigid penis implant is used, the penis may appear slightly larger in size. If a 3-part implant is used, the penis looks completely natural.
