Lips are one of the most important facial features. Lipstick alone, however, sometimes is not enough to achieve the desired look. Injection of special fillers or soft lip implants can be used for fullness and youthfulness of the lips.
One way to enhance lips (give them fuller & younger appearance) is with special fillers, such as Surgilips®, Juvederm Ultra® or Restylane Lipp®. To minimise any discomfort, our medical team carries out the procedure under local anaesthesia.
After lip augmentation abroad, there might be swelling for 1-3 days. The lips are enhanced for 9-12 months.
Patients can apply make-up on the following day after the procedure.
Patients looking for a permanent result are offered special Permalip® soft lip implants. The procedure takes less than 1 hour & is carried out under local anaesthesia. The patients are discharged shortly after.

It is advisable to try injectable fillers before undergoing a permanent lip augmentation. Because it is important to like the look of fuller lips on yourself before committing to something permanent.
Permalip implants look natural regardless of the patients’ age. They are also easy to place/remove if one changes his/her mind. Overtime, the implants feel completely normal.

Recovery following a lip implantation is longer and (often) takes 1 week. Our surgical team uses dissolvable sutures, thus there is no need to take them out. Until the healing process is finished, the lips may feel numb (to a degree). Also, they may feel stiff for up to 3 months following the procedure.
Complications are extremely rare. While still in Lithuania: in case you are feeling unwell or there is anything abnormal, you will be immediately checked upon by the medical personnel. Should there be a need for a follow-up procedure, it would be carried out for you free of charge.
Complication in the later stages of the recovery is less likely and (most of the time) not immediate. If they happen, our surgeon would consult you online and explain the steps to take.
